Community Ownership
Your language data belongs to your community. EchoGrounds exists to support your work, not to control or commercialize it.
About EchoGrounds
EchoGrounds comes from a genuine desire to help communities preserve and teach their languages on their own terms.
I came to care deeply about language preservation through relationship—learning from First Nations communities, understanding the real work it takes to revitalize a language, and recognizing the barriers that exist.
My background in software development meant I had skills that could help. But building EchoGrounds wasn't about imposing a solution. It was about listening to what communities actually needed, then creating technology that honours cultural protocols and gives communities complete ownership and control over their language and data.
Every design choice, every feature, and every pricing decision reflects that commitment to partnership—not extraction.
This work matters because of the relationships at the centre of it. EchoGrounds isn't something I'm doing alone—it's something we're building together with communities, Elders, educators, and language keepers who are doing the hard work of preserving and teaching their languages every day.
That collaboration shapes everything. It means continuous listening, respecting cultural protocols, and being willing to adapt as communities' needs evolve. It means showing up as a partner committed to long-term support, not a vendor looking for the next project.

One clear price. No hidden fees. Our goal is to build trust through honest, predictable partnerships.
Designed for Elders, teachers, youth, and learners. Technology should support language revitalization, not complicate it.
We're not a vendor passing through. We're here to walk alongside communities on their language journeys for years to come.
